Why would Optus be calling my Telstra mobile phone

Can confirm it is optus - it's a quick survey to make sure that you are happy with whatever optus service to may have recently connected.

I have had a call from this number at around 12 PM each day since Monday. It's now Thursday and this is getting quite old.

this Person calls at least 3 times a day any hour any day , I usually don't answer the Phone knowing that 9 times outa 10 the call be Sales Call and I spend the cost of a Phone Call by dailing *69 to check WHO has rung me ...every other day .

and it's just "tough titties" if it is a Legit call
from Friends/ Legit Business WHEN THEY WON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE!

This is the situation pricks like this cause !

Have had calls randomly from Optus over the past few years, while they were my service provider and even now that they are not. This last call was very annoying considering I am overseas and the call came through in the wee hours - plus I get charged for their call. Thanks Optus.

igot two calls from this same phone number, fact is,no answer and i will file a complaint to the police,because i have been broken into,my personal belongings stolen,since the break in i have had police surveillance,security gaurd protection and i want to get to the bottom of this situation.too much to report in email.

THIS IS NOT OPTUS - They called me asking for my PIN for verification, and I got suspicious. I asked them for a number to call them back on and they hung up on me. For some reason they use this number and allow it to be visible rather than using a silent number (probably because when you call back there's a recorded message saying it's from Optus and saying not to worry because they're just calling to make sure you're happy with their service). I'm pretty sure this is not just a scam but a form of fraud. Be careful.

Got a call on home phone yesterday and now today on my mobile ?????????????????????????????????

They called, saying they were from optus wanting personal information, when I asked what it was for she wouldn't give me a straight answer so I hung up n now theyve called me 4 times in the last few days. I don't answer it anymore.

This is from Citibank. Apparently there's a pending application or somesort.

It is Optus. All you have to do is ring it to find that out. The recorded message said they are just ringing to see if I'm happy with the service.

I plan to ring Customer Service to stop these calls (they were closed when I first rang).

answered to this number today, was quite for 10 seconds then went to engaged signal. optus mobile here.

its happening to me but its not optus cause im not even a optus client and im a member of the do not call registery and it keeps calling so i believe its a scam if u call back so dont call or just change numbers like im going to do

These guys have been calling me everyday for the past week but i dont answer it. Its Optus, how annoying!

called and hung up before I could answer. it doesnt surprise me that its optus.. I hate OS call centre calls. Drives me nuts.
