I too get this call from unknown number usually after unknwn call from (03) 9033 0233. Why do they call on a Sunday?? In any case I never answer. I too am with OPTUS so would put money on that it is their call centre and either drumming up business or reminding that account is due, which usually has been just paid anyway

they tell you to call 1300 309 309 but they number disconnects as soon as you call... just call 1300 300 937

I have paid my bill on time and I have had 27 calls ranging from 6am to 11pm! It keeps waking my kids up from this number!!!! I have called them and all they say is oh sorry. I give then a receipt number despite the fact it was paid on time! Today a lone while I was at work in a meeting my phone would not stop ringing. When I looked at it I had 48 missed calls from this number!!! This is beyond a joke!!!! As soon as I can I'm outta this contract with them!

GAHHH OPTUS IS SO ANNOYING! I advised them of a date I could pay my bill as I was going to be paying my bill late, and they assured me this was fine... Yetthey cut me off ANYWAY even though I have put the payment through. Then they continue to call me off this number but no one is ever there. TAKE NOTE OPTUS - If I advise you of a date that I am going to pay on, don't advise me that it is fine and then cut me off on that date! It takes up to two days for a payment to go through, I even called optus today and advised them of a receipt number yet it STILL got cut off. When my contract is up I am DEFINITELY going to another provider.

I has been with Optus for at least 10yrs and the service provider is becoming more and more unreliable and it is very very difficult to contact to the right person to talk /deal with any problem. Call centers (overseas) are miserable and hopeless. When the contract ends, I'll have to find a company with their customer call centre based in Aus.
