Received a mail letter with this number on it. Rebate scam try to convince me that I was entitled to a reimbursement from Optus. Asked for personal detail, address, bank details etc. Reported to scam watch.

I have had a number of calls from this number in recent weeks. I answer but they always hang up.It is frustrating. Why bother repeat calling?

This number has left more than 10 hang up messages on my mobile in the last week. When i called back i was told it was the Optus helpdesk and it could have been anyone from Optus who called me. as i have no accounts with Optus and haven't had any for more than 10 years, i'm assuming it is a telemarketing call and this is not kosher, as my mobile is on the do not call list.
