It's from Bupa call centre trying to sell more insurance policies.
I've worked at a call centre before(not Bupa) and the way it works is that call centre has a list of people to contact.
We need to make a contact at least 3 times each person until either of the following.
1) we speak to the person and explain the reason of call(selling, confirming details or whatever the purpose)
2) we speak to the person and the clearly told they are not interested(They'll close your case for this purpose)
3) we speak to the person and was told they are busy at the moment (they'll call you back again
4) no answer 3 times (they will leave you until they finish calling the rest f the list and then call you again till either you say you are not interested or to delete you from the marketing list)

Got a called from this number....no msg left on my mobile.

i got this number all afternoon when i was work and once pick up say halo it hang off! wo de?

5 calls in 3 days. It will only ring a few times then stop. Other times it rings longer. When we answered today they didnt say anything for a few seconds then just hung up. Added to the 'reject' list on the phone.

missed cals fromthis number - no messages left very annoying

Call and hang up after I greet them, then call back and it's bupa. I called back and they were confused, still blasted them.

it's really annoying. non stop call 4x/day

How to stop the number to call you?

Especially when woken from sleep to be hung up on!

Like everyone else, this number calls, and the moment I pick up, it hangs up. They must be testing numbers in a database to check if the numbers are still current. Then they sell the numbers to marketing companies.

You can block the number from most smartphones these days.

I don't answer any interstate numbers I don't know, or unknown numbers...if they were genuine people needing to call you, they would leave a message.

missed call, common these days with 86... numbers which must be a call centre prefix I guess. We are with Bupa but not for long if they try and sell me insurance like 100 other companies desperately do. Must work enough to keep being pests though otherwise they would stop the rot.

Creepy indeed. I am a BUPA customer. It beep once and hang up after i answered it.

They called & when I answered they hung up. I'm with bupa so I'm assuming it's them, won't be answering again when they call
