I received a call from this number and decided to see what they had to say. They asked information about the company but not sensitive information, such as have you had any reduction in turnover, which I answered no change, how do you see the next quarter I said no change, how does the Australian dollar affect you, I said it doesn't etc. So they wouldn't have got anything meaningful from us! Was foreign sounding person I would treat with caution and not reveal anything specific to your business.

Received a phone call asking me to confirm details of business, details that they already had.
How many employees etc. They even knew my full name & I am just an employee!
They then asked me to confirm our yearly turnover.
At that point, I said I was not discussing any financials & ended the call.
Be careful as she was very convincing.

Calling from Dun & Bradstreet asking for company information to "help our customers when they call them".
I said to her we didn't provide any credit and there would be no reason for our clients to contact them, then she insisted she just wanted to confirm a couple of details.
Told her we didn't need their service and hung up.

Female called claiming she was calling from Union.

received VM from number they knew i was in current dealings with Microsoft... bad.

get the call today for twice. feel so bad

8075 8310 or 8311. Guess they're working through the digits. I've learned not to answer 80.... numbers. They never leave content in the message, just waste my time checking it. If they can't bother to leave a message I'm certainly not calling them back. Boring. Wish they'd get a life and do something useful for the planet.

Caller: Claimed to be a company formerly known as Dun & Bradstreet

Can confirm this number is a SCAM, saying they have public information about the company and they want to confirm detailed information about the company in the event that other companies want to trade with you. Quite sophisticated but I asked for them to send me an email pertaining to the information and then the lady hung up, sounded like it was a call centre from offshore routed to a domestic line.

Just had a call from this exact number, however i asked for a reference number (they've called here plenty of times before) and this time they gave me one. So they must know and are now giving out 'reference numbers' to sound legitimate.

Phishing information seem to know about personal details

Caller: Said was from a Company called Illios (?) formally Dunn & Bradstreet

Started off by quoting my personal name & business name. Wanted to firstly verify information (had a thick accent, so couldn't exactly work out what he was trying to say) I advised immediately that I was not comfortable disclosing info over the phone & they should put it in writing. He said they didn't have those details. I hung up.

Caller wanted to verify business details to which they had at hand already, as per previous comments. It got suspicious when she asked for our annual turnover. I advised that was non of her business and she hung up on me.
The more concerning thing was a Sydney number appeared on my handset.
Researched the business and it's a business from Milburn, New Jersey US.
Do not disclose any information with these people, they're scammers.

Same. I confirmed workplace address, and ABN which they already knew. When they asked for last years turnover I refused to answer, the guy tried to pressure me into giving an estimate, when I told him I would not be supplying any of the requested info, he quickly hung up.

Had a lady who wanted me to verify our business info. She knew our company name. Asked why she needed our personal info, she couldn't really give me a straight answer I asked her to send me a email with the info she needs and she said that needs a verbal answer I advised that we do not give personal info over the phone then she hung up. She was polite but could sense scam call from the start! Super annoying! Go away!

Said they were formerly D&B. Asked for annual turnover. Told them they have no right to ask that and if they were going to scam people to at least learn the laws first.

When are telcos going to take responsibility for shutting down these scammers using split lines?

Caller: A company called Illios formerly Dun and Brad Street

Caller with a Phillipino accent said that they were from a company formerly Dunn and Brad Street. Wanted to set up an interview with Director of our company. Told me they weren't trying to sell me anything but good to have information on hand for my future suppliers. When I said that people can be phishing for information they all of a sudden couldn't hear me. I hung up and blocked the call.

Caller: Claimed to be Dun & Bradstreet
I have been hearing such caller statement since 2000, claiming to be made from Dun & Bradstreet.
I suggest Dun & Bradstreet should take action.
