I'm now the target of a new lot of relentless scam calls. The lowlifes have called three times in the last couple of days, from (02) 8073 4185, 4198 and now 5200. There's no point in blocking the numbers they use because they just keep using new ones, and of course they never bother to speak. Please never answer calls from these pests or this increasingly intolerable plague will never stop. Elderly, ill, disabled, bereaved people are being tormented in their own homes.

Can’t stop these calls - I have a message on land phone and mobile indicating I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers so leave a message. If the number is in the phone I answer otherwise I ignore it. You can’t stop them from ringing but you don’t have to answer. I’ve never had an important caller that didn’t leave a message. Let it ring out.

They hang up as soon as they answer machine kicks in and never leave a message. Hope they are paying for their calls and eventually give up. Damned nuisances.

Yet more relentless scammers calling repeatedly from variations of this number: (02) 8073 4185, 4198, and 5200 so far. Never answer calls from these numbers and block them if you can. This plague of scam calls is a nightmare.

Caller: He said he was a charity exectutive Bloke talked all friendly like until I baulked about paying money up front. From then on he just wanted to do all the talking, every time I made a comment he just talked all over me like he thought he was the boss. I told him he was a failure in his current job and to go out and mow lawns for a living and I hung up.

Caller: Scammers They called again just now claiming to represent several charities. NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR INFO and NEVER say words like "yes" to their questions. They keep a recording of every call until they collect enough bits of info to scam you. They will make fraudulent charges to your bank account, change your phone or energy provider to gain a commission by playing your own voice, etc. The minute you hear a non-western voice It's ALWAYS going to be a scam. Don't even answer their calls. Let it ring out unanswered, then type the number into a search online to see if it's genuine. Don't even answer to abuse them because your number automatically gets put on a list of numbers that answer (even if you tell them to @#$^ off) and you'll get daily scam calls. I haven't answered their calls for YEARS so I only got about one call every month or two. Then the other day I answered, abused them, and since then I've gotten at least two calls every day. They're in India, do it because they're too damn lazy to work or too stupid to think of a way to make money, so they try and steal yours. Educate everyone you know so these lazy vermin get no victims and starve.

NEVER sign up and give your info or buy from Temu. Watch this entire video for why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20_TlrrB3W4. Fraudulent charges on your bank account, relentless spam, an app with code that can steal your personal info and whatever you do online... Boycott any business that advertises on Facebook is good practice too (Temu ads are everywhere on there). FB doesn't care about users, only that they get their grubby advertising dollars. I haven't seen a legit business on FB Marketplace yet and they know they're all scammers but don't care.

Relentless maniacs. No matter how many times you fail to answer (perhaps because you've blocked the number) these bottom feeders seem intent on calling until doomsday. I'm in another state and have now blocked all calls from (02) numbers in order to preserve my sanity. If I don't receive a legitimate call from NSW, that's too bad.
