I received a phone call from sarah asking about my x jason. I had not been in contact for years and she advised that she had his mobile number but had no response. It was apparently private so she wouldn't tell.me why she wanted to get in contact. Very weird.

Credit Corp - debt collection - they use a strategy of bombarding people close to the individual they are tracking, whether real estate, neighbours, co-workers. Almost certainly not legal, but very effective

Received call from a 'Jennifer' wanting to know whether my company had an office in NSW. Then stated an ex employee's name. Said it was a "personal" matter. Sounded suspiciously impersonal (I've been involved with debt collection myself). I said I'd pass on message, Jennifer said she'd call back in a couple of days.

I had a call from my real estate that a woman named Sarah had been in looking for my ex-husband who has never lived at the address I'm at or had anything to do with this real estate.
She knew my name and my address. Luckily my real estate refused to give out my details and rang me to give me this "Sarah's" number. When I rung her (blocking my number) she said she could not give me any information due to the privacy act just that it was personal business. I informed her that she had breached my personal privacy as my ex has nothng to do with me or where I live and there is no contact between us.
I asked her how she found me - public websites apparently. She said she would remove my details but I am very unhappy at being tracked down when it has nothing to do with me.

I just got a call from the same people, Sarah was the name. They wanted a phone number for an ex employee and made it sound like an emergency. Luckily for the person they were looking for I didn't happen to have his number:)

The same as above. Called our friends and even business colleagues to get a hold of my sister. Very annoying. Tries to get you to give them personal details!

This is a bebt collection agencey using a return call on a private number.
Tricky as cannot find out which agency it is or through that, what debt they are calling about.

Got a call relating to a cousin caller a femail mentioned a Business name ABN in regards and would not tell me who she or her company was just was an urgent personal business matter with regards my cousin. She asked me to forward number to him to call her urgently before close of business. I suspect it was a collection agency using a private number as I cant find who it is on reverse number. Is a bit sneeky of them I have passed on info to cousin cautioning him that I expect it is a debt collection agency.

They are chasing my x wife- we have been seperated for 7 years. As my new wife is also Asian, they think that she is my X. and they laudgh at her litterally. also the man becme threating to my current wife, also thinking it was her. I am about to call the Police. We have had to change our phone number.
