scam - spoke to telstra today- they will not call you like this. this number is a scam.

It was a voice recorded message stating it is Telstra with a very important message. Once I confirmed my details with the keypad - it said $71.23 was 'seriously' overdue. Thanks Telstra. Send me the bill next time. Don’t call me anymore.

I missed 3 calls from this number in less than 6 hours. I doubt it's Telstra because the caller id never shows up and this number is. I've never paid my bill on time so I am pretty familiar with how they chase up payment.

Received a call from (02) 8070 2203 saying it was Testra & they wanted to talk to me about a fault on my line.

Asked me to press 1. I pressed 1 but the call hung up.

My wife received the same call a short time later and she rang the number back. When she pressed 1 a message said the account details were being down loaded so she immediately hung up.

automated australian voice saying it's telstra calling about a disrupted service, and that it isn't telemarketing. dodgy as farrkk. If i googled a Telstra number, it should come up related to their website contact us, not here. :)

Total scam. I have never had a Telstra account. I have been getting the same scam calls for years now and always claiming its the same customer (Rose Ioneke??). It starts with a automated message and then a week or so later is followed up with a Indian sounding "customer service" scammer. I occasionally engage with them and usually invite them to disconnected me. After all these years I still have not been disconnected. Tell them nothing and piss them around as much as you can.

Same harassment here, I think they are russian callers.
Can we set the scammers up and then kill them?

Missed call from this number on my mobile. No msg left. Called it back & got recorded msg from Telstra.

definitely is a scam, have never held an account with Telstra so how could I possibly have an overdue bill....... dodgy as, stop telling people this is legitimate

Absolutely 100% SCAM! I got a missed call from this number today, they didn’t leave a voicemail. I called the number back, recorded voice said this is Telstra, press 1 to continue. Definitely wasn’t doing that as I didn’t believe it was Telstra.
So I then called Telstra and asked if they’d tried to call me, and gave them the time if the incoming call. They checked, and confirmed that the had NOT tried to call me today.
Number is now blocked.

The quickest way to know that this is a scam call and isn't really Telstra is the fact that it's a SingTel number, which is the flagship Optus operates under, as in, a direct competitor to Telstra. I feel pretty comfortable assuming that Telstra uses their own connections and aren't giving employees Optus phones to harass customers!

Certainly in my case it was a useful reminder to pay the bill. After an absolute barrage of spammy-seeming robocalls from (02) 8070 2203, exhorting me to call 1300 369 666, go to telstra.com or a post office I was moved to look into it. Indeed, we hadn't paid the bill for 2 months.

Got the call from this number repeatedly three times. 10:35AM then at 10:36 and then a 10:37AM. Haven’t received any email or anything in writing from Telstra.
Telstra mentioned on their website that they will never call repeatedly and always will leave something in writing.. so definitely a scam

Definitely telstra! Do listen to these other complaints, I owe telstra and they are telling me my bill is over due.

Indian man from Telstra asking me to confirm my details. I told him he's dreaming!

Called 5 times within the span of one afternoon. Scam callers attempting to gain personal information and fraudulently pry your bank details and money. BLOCK AND DO NOT PICK UP.
