Its a voice recorded message stating it is Telstra with a very important message and asks to type personal details into the key pad.
If it really is Telstra with an important message they can call me personally. with all the scams out there these days a large corporation such as Telstra should know better.

Caller: Telstra If Telstra want results, perhaps they should learn to leave a message instead of multiple missed calls from different numbers throughout the day.

Actually this is Telstra calling to remind you to pay your bill. It's not a telemarketing call.

Caller: Fraudulent enterprise Definitely not a call from Telstra, as all customers have accounts that require secure access, to which, when entered, enables full control of the customer account, including bill payment. If possible, never give out or enter credit card information or any other personal data when you accept a call, phone numbers can be spoofed, even links provided by scam emails can lead you to very convincing fake websites, and for those who don't know if even this site can be trusted, read the disclaimer at the very bottom: anyone can enter information on here, claim that it was the cops that called you and urge you to pay. Worst case scenario, visit any of their customer care shops to be certain. For those who got a call and was instantly hung up on, even calls asking you to press a key on your phone, that would have been scammers confirming that there's a person on the other end of the number, before they give it out to their team/s to attempt to defraud you of your money. Stay safe, everyone.

Caller: This same number from Telstra I think the people who are saying it's legitimately Telstra are themselves involved with this Scam. I am with Optus and have been for two years and they continually keep calling me to remind me that I have an oustanding bill. Optus have confirmed this a scam, so be careful!

This is 100% a scam. They have been calling me for weeks, now called back on a private number and got cranky at me when i wouldn't cooperate and hung up on me. Don't pay them for anything. The people on here saying that it is legit Telstra are wrong.

Answered the call and was told they were ringing from telstra. They said my mobile account was $369 and overdue. I don't have a Telstra Mobile account. They wanted me to pay by credit card. I hung up.
