I called back number (02) 8064 5001 reached voice mail of company called Australian Red Cross.

Yes, Mission Australia. They keep calling and don't give up :(

Pretty sure this was Australian Red Cross hassling me as I've recently cancelled monthly donations.
But may never know as conne tion cancelled as soon as I answered (after they had called on 4 previous occasions)

As soon as I answered they hung up

yep they are pests i have blocked this number a few time it still comes through and i am on the do not call register I'm really fed with them

Irritating as the calls are frequent, no message left and hang up when I answered. I too have had a credit card expire recently - the Red Cross/Salvation Army or whoever need to get a better service to chase after their donors.

Am over these calls, block them and they call from a different number.
I donated for 12 months and they kept their deductions up from my Saving Account after my contract was up!!! Rip off Bastards, never again will I donate to RED CROSS AUSTRALIA

Get spam called by this twice daily. Blocked the number now.. can't they better spend their time actually calling old people who need someone to talk too instead of spam calling me ffs..

Have been calling me every day sometimes twice a day, I do donate to red cross Australia, which I notice from previous notes that this is who is calling, but I do not answer or call back if they will not leave a message.

Like others, I have been called and no message left. This will be some third party who is being paid by a charity to contact clients. They are being paid 'per contact' and are probably rorting the system by letting it connect to voicemail and hanging up (they still get a fee for each 'successful phone call'). It's probably Red Cross or Salvos as my credit card recently expired.

They've called half a dozen times the last week when ive been at work and missed the call. the one i answered, there was no response then just hang up from their end when i said "hello"

Exasperated by multiple calls from this number, often daily.

salvation army. i was doing monthly donations over a year ago. cancelled it and now they call me at least once a day to sign back up. grrrr
