I received a call, claiming they are from Telstra. As with others, apparently that they will need to suspend my Telstra internet service. After I let them go on for a while, I challenged them saying they were not Telstra and further suggested they are liars, scammers, cheats and fraudsters, they got very 'upset' and starting yelling saying they are only trying to 'help' me!! Problem is.....I don't have a Telstra internet!!

Asian lady named Mary rang me, told me internet was getting cut off , etc, so I asked her employee number with Telstra, she rattled Offa number and I wrote it down, then after I spoke to her for a while I asked for her employee number again but she couldn't give it me and got snakey when iquestioned her about it, sotoldher she was a scammer and evening up

A man with an accent rang - sounded like it was rerouted through from Mumbai or Phillipines - and told me Testra was about to suspend my internet account for 2 weeks. (I'm not with Telstra anyway.) In 2 words I told him where to go and hung up.

Received 3 calls from this number today, number recorded but no message.

Ring Telstra and they can block that number from calling your 'phone. If you have Caller ID installed, you can save that number in your 'phone and give it the name "Do Not Answer". Works for me.

Asian lady keeps calling me saying she's from Telecom and my internet connection is compromised. I've told her not to call me and she will call 4 or 5 times in 10 mins. Eventually the answering machine response discourages her (she never leaves a message). How can such calls be blocked altogether?

The caller has tried on a number of occasions but hangs up when I just listen rather than answer immediately, dodgy or what.

A man phoned me from this number and said he was from Telstra. I told him I am not with Telstra and registered on the Do Not Call register and he shouldn't be calling me. He insisted "Mam I MUST speak with you". I said No. He rudely said "I am cutting your internet off!" and slammed the phone down.

I received a call from Allan Fell claiming to be from Telstra. Apparently, I have been giving out my Broadband details to others who are illegally using my IP address. I am going to lose my broadband for 1 month from tomorrow. I needed to log onto my computer and he would show me all of the illegal users and would then fix my problem. My internet is with Telstra, however, other than my name and address 'Allan' could not tell me my email address or account number. Sounds like a scam. He forgot to tell me he would record the call for training purposes.
