Caller: Said they were calling on behalf of Hewlett-Packard Packard

Legitimate call to renew the hardware maintenance on our HP server. I was also emailed the T &C's and quote. I do this each year. But strange how it is directly through HP now. As though they are outsourcing their customer calls to a 3rd party.

Call received today From Hewlett-Packard, advising my server's warranty had expired and it had.
Not a junk call, English was just not the callers first language.

Caller: They said it was Hewlett Packard

Said our server had expired. Wanted to know if we had in house IT support and who that was. It is a scam!!

I called back number (02) 8039 8517 rang once then goes to busy tone.
