when I answerred it went straight to an answer machine. "I'm sorry there is no one avaialble to take your call". A call that, I assume would connect to an available operator. I blocked the number. Really irritates me when the call does not have a real person on the end.

hung up as soon as I answered

They start lying about where they got your nr, even though the privacy act protect me,they still find illegal fraudulant ways of contacting you. Be honest and back off. If I want my phone uograded I will do it on my terms

Pretty sure scammers don't read these sites and as a result, your request will not be seen by them.
