The RFS actually do use a call centre to sell raffles tickets. The amount of times I have asked to be taken off their list beggars belief! I just don't answer anymore.

It's a real job, they get treated badly by people they call so if you're on the list as donating they'll call again. It's not the employee's fault at all, the business running the fund-raising call centre should try more complex methods than just infinitely calling again.

The person left a message saying they are calling to verify my details. In the last 15 years I have never been called to verify my details in writing or via phone. I suspect they are spam.

This is a fake call. The RFS will ever solicit donations over the phone, only in person, in uniform. Make sure you are on the federal govt. "do not call" register.

I get this number calling me a lot and it’s very annoying.
I don’t know if it’s a scam, but I’m sick of them!.

They continue to call every week even though I have specifically asked them to take me off the list and I also continue to block the numerous different numbers they call me on.

Always get calls from this number at 7pm/9pm at night. but because we are a buiness no one is ever here and no messages are ever left.

Useful info. Always donate. Always do it direct and not through the telemarketing option.
