Legally you do not have to pay a debt to a debt collector.

If you have a debt, it is with the original creditor only, no one else.

Keep asking for my aunt. I tell them i dont know anyone by that name. They skim through your facebook and pretend to look for your rellos to get you to admit who you are so they can harrass you more. Then embarrass you by contacting that rello as a bully tactic for telling them to 'f' off. I dont own the debt they are chasing me for.

i called back and I got a message saying number is not valid

Lately, they ring my mobile then while that's ringing they ring the home number if you press answer no one is there.
About a month ago told them where to step of even sent me a link to my phone trying to confirm they are credit corp.
