Credit Corp ringing and texting at 8pm then answer machine when calling back

Report this phone number (02) 8024 9465 to the ACCC Scamwatch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam I received a scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (02) 8024 9465 on my unlisted private phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number and reported it to the ACCC Scamwatch. The last time I had credit was 20 years ago. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

Several calls from this number. Never leaves a message why they are ringing. I think they use different phone numbers to get you to answer/reply but still don't inform why they are calling.

CREDIT CORP COMING AFTER A DEBT THAT WAS SETTLED IN 2009, I USED EQUIFAX TO CHECK MY CREDIT FILE AND IT SAYS THE DEBT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SETTLED AND REMOVED FROM MY FILE, BUT CREDIT CORP CLAIMS I STILL OWE THE MONEY. THEY’RE SCAMMERS.
