Received a missed call on my mobile today. No message left. Returned the call and it went to a financial advisory centre. Unsure how this company got my number as it is silent, however we people do put information through the internet with companies whose policies state that they will not give out our personal details... mmmmmm
According to the notes for (02) 8023 0000 on 800notes.com, around Oct-2007 it was American Express trying to upgrade existing customers. I've never been an Amex customer, though.
Someone commented more recently in the notes for (02) 8023 0431 that it's GE Capital Finance trying to sell money insurance. This makes more sense as I was once, many years ago, a Buyers Edge (GE Capital Finance) customer.
It's probably a single marking/customer service firm, though, that's getting subcontracted by Amex, GE and who knows who else. Hope this helps somebody.

Can't really add much to whats been said already. But got a call on my number (have only had the number for a short while and not too many people would know it) from (02) 8023 0267. No message was left but when I rang the number a voice message said it was Customcall. My bank knows my number so it may have been them who gave Customcall my details for a bank related call. Not sure why I was called though.
