They tried to scam my mum from this number!

Caller: Some guy

‘Telstra’.

Not Telstra. Guy tried to tell me my modem was sending warning messages. I told him we just got a new modem so the problems would be fixed now. He hung up.

Caller: Someone claiming to be with Telstra

A Indian fellow called me saying he is from Telstra. I asked what's this about he said about your internet connection. I said what can you tell me about it. He said we see there is a problem with your modem. I said really, (funny because I'm not with Telstra I'm with Optus) and just said to him, why don't you give me your name and number and I'll call you back. He hung up straightaway. I called the number back and a message came up saying this number has been disconnected. This guy is a scammer.

When I answered this call, the caller hung up. Believe it to be another scammer.
