One of the great things about mobile numbers is that you can block calls from these insistent pests!

Pesky calls every day, at any time of day. I don't answer the call.

Called and left a .45 second message of their heavy breathing. I don’t think they realised they didn’t hand up

Caller: Animal Welfare Protection As soon as she said "Animal Welfare Protection" I knew it was a telemarketer and I immediately said I wasn't interested and to remove me from their list. She responded with "but I haven't said anything yet!"
It was pretty obvious that she was selling something. Do they think we're all that stupid?

Caller: Animal Welfare group I called back the number (02) 8020 1222 and it was the voicemail of an animal welfare mission that I had not provided my details to. Unsure how they got my details.

Caller: World Animal Protection I received a call from this number today. I didn't answer then after a pause a woman with an Australian accent said she is calling from World Animal Protection to make me aware of animal cruelty. I said I couldn't talk because my mouth was full (which was true). She said "no worries" and said goodbye. I now have the number listed on my contacts so I will recognise it next time.
