I believe they are looking for active phone numbers. If you answer then your number will probably be on-sold to other organizations and you will be inundated.

I answer yet, they just hang up. I have tried blocking it yet it doesn't work.

The call is from Careflight and they are collecting donations. I entered a competition via Ticketmaster last week and opted to receive calls for this charity. There are two ways to stop getting these calls. Firstly, don't enter competitions unless you're prepared to receive calls from charities or telemarketers. It doesn't matter if you're on the Do Not Call Register - you volunteered your information. Secondly, answer the call and tell them you're not interested! It's really not that hard and it will stop the calls. But then again, this is a registered charity who provide a unique service to sick and injured kids in Australia. So good luck saying no! :-)

They are the rudest most condescending people who just hang up. I am going to abuse them the next time they call. NO I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY BECAUSE YOU HARRAS ME!

We get several calls a day but nobody speaks when we answer it. Just ignore it now but they don't leave a message.

I get calls from this number every morning every night. Obviously from me entering a competition or doing a survey. So don't do either.

These number calls at least twice a day i left my number on there call back thing to not get anymore calls and they still ring!!

Made the mistake of doing a survey after making a purchase on Snapfish.com. and have had this number call at least 2 times a day along with others as a result

These people just rung saying they were from a place called care flight, they were wanting donations to help rescue infants or something like that, I try to explain that I was only 12 years old and they still ranted on trying to get my donations!! But eventually they got pissed off and hung up.

Called my number then started calling other numbers in the house

Made the mistake of filling out an on line survey as entry to a competition. When part way through a message popped up briefly which I almost missed that said by completing the survey I was authorising the businesses named to contact me. Careflight was one named and since then I get calls. After I saw the message I immediately closed out but still received the calls from a number of the businesses.

I just called this number and an automated voice stated "Welcome to Careflight"...

Yes I agree with all of the above. I believe there is a way to trace this number, but just haven't got time at the moment to do it. They can go for harassment I believe. I never answer this number!

I receive a call once a day at the same time i never answer it but its very annoying

Same as other Posters annoying never leave message ring me constantly. I am registered as a do not call subscriber.still get rubbish calls!!
