Did not leave a message however unfortunately if they are a charity the no calls block won't help.

This number called 70 YES 70 times today in a short time. They also called 40 YES 40 times yesterday. The funny thing is, my modem is set to block them so they are wasting their time and money. If they tried a couple of times and gave up, they could have saved a lot of animals.

Missed 2 calls, rang back to get a recorded message saying the caller was from Backyard Buddies program, wanting people to buy a "Buddy mascot" to help support funding. It gives an option to enter your number to not receive further calls. Not sure that will work, as they now have your number if you enter it.

Twice a day now, with an automated message about a charity drive for the RedCross. Funnily enough the number supplied to call is for the RedCross however the RedCross don't know anything about it and therefore can't stop the calls

They called multiple times. Finally answered on time. Man with thick accent said he was volunteer for Children's home charity. I said I tithe (which I do). That casued him to ask what is tithe? Etc. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Claimed to be an insurer, then said they were a charitable group, then they asked for my street address. Broken English.

They use automatic dialers and when you finally answer after numerous calls, they try to get your financial info and ask for donations for some vague charity that helps Australians in Need. Just Hang Up!

Surely the Telecom provider has the ability to de-list / cancel the use of the phone being used for scamming

Woman with a pommy accent called and claimed she was from National Parks and Wildlife, wanting donations to save the penguins. Gave herself up when she said NPWS didn't receive any funds from the Government, and insisted they weren't part of the Government, which means she wasn't calling from National Parks and Wildlife!

I just had a call from this number, but I did not pick up. Just like Phil I have a phone that shows caller ID. I didn't know the number so I didn't pick up. Then I checked it on Google which led to this site indicating scam. If I am still unsure, I will switch my mobile to "hide number" then call the number. I recommend everyone should have land line phones with caller ID.

Said they were from National Parks & Wildlife & were seeking donations. NPWS is a fully funded, government department who reap millions in park fees etc. Scam!
