This number keeps calling me every few days around 2pm on my optus mobile and when i answer it there is no one there until a friend of mine who works in IT told me that if you answer the number and press hash (#) 6 times the computer that calls you spits you out of the system and will not call you again and it has worked it works with every telemarketing program.

same number rang me i answered it and it took them about 30sec to say anything.. rang exactly 2:30

The number is a load of S**t it was calling every day then stopped for about a week and now calls on a weekly basis sometimes every few days. I did call back once and its just an automated recording and the website for it was no better. Go to www.donotcall.gov.au and register your number for marketers to stop calling

I find if you actually answer the call, and tell them "NO, I'm not interested in that" they will stop calling you. Simple really, but I know it's hard for some people comprehend that.

I have been called by this number today with no voice. Then i was called 17 times by mobile numbers starting with 0450 or 0459. Each number was different.

I have been getting calls for over a year from this number and when you dont answer this one they call from another one. It is from Sykes Financial services and they get your information from Optus and Westpac. You can go to their website sykes.com and email them witha request to stop calling. (Yes they have a specific section for this!!!) This is harassment and I have had enough!!!

Their autodailer has been phoning me at 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm for months so I finally decided to answer their call. It was Sykes Financial Services flogging Westpac Life Insurance. The best thing you can do is answer and tell them never to call again.

Be careful with this phone number! They claimed to be a representative from St George Bank and forced you to give your last 4 digit credit card number and your bank account details.

Recieved several calls from this number, do they ever quit?

I keep getting these calls too.. I just remembered working for a national fitness company that all numbers collected via word of mouth must be out through a DO NOT CALL register. If the number comes back on the call list, its able to be contacted. This being said.

Received a call from these plebs, stating to be from Aus Financial Services. They new my name, and stated they got my 'unlisted' number from Westpac. I have alerted the Westpac Fraud Department of these calls, who are aware of this activity. The calls originate from India.

This number has been ringing my landline and mobile about twice a weekday for about 2 weeks. I don't answer and they never leave a message.

this number (02) 8019 9700 keeps on calling me every day and i don't know who the person is. when i received the call, no one answers me and suddenly the line cut off. if ignore the call, no one left any msg. if call back, no one picks up my call. even though the call is picked up, no one talks on the phone. so annoying! can i block this incoming call via service provider ?

I receive calls from this number all the time too. it either rings out, or if I answer it, it hangs up immediately.

A lady called me on behalf of St George Bank just now. She asked me to join some kind of life insurrance. She knows my home address but she still wants to get my credit card number. I refused her.

Same thing calls a few times a day at approx same time for weeks on end, then stops. Very similar number then calls so sick of it. Also a westpac & optus customer

ok guys.They are fake and calling from india .they know every detail about you because most of the company has call centre in india .from these callcentre it easy to find all information easily.pls dont give any money detail to them like card num etc.They just want money....
