I have been harassed for days now on a variety of numbers. Today I'd had enough so I called them and said to take my number off their calling list. "Wayne" informed me that he would put a do not call on my number. Lets see if it has in fact worked.

I leave it for my son to answer them. He's got them so good, asking for a double whopper with cheese....thanks, that will 1 million dollars.....they hang up! hahahaha

Ring, I picked up but I didn’t make a single noise (not even hello), the other end stays for 26 secs and it cut off.
Make sure don’t answer “yes”, it will record your “yes” and process transaction on behalf of your voice ... say the bank.

Caller: No idea

I’ve been receiving these calls almost everyday over the past week and it’s doing my head in. I’ve blocked about 5 different 02 numbers claiming they’re from Sydney. I’ve answered one of the calls and it’s just pure silence so I hung up. There should be a feature that automatically blocks spam calls!!!

Just don’t answer these calls at all. I read somewhere else that if you answer they can put you on hold and you can be charged for the length of time you are on the line.

This is the 4th call in less than 24hrs. Have blcked each different number they call on. They leep using a new one all seem to be brands choice. You think after this many calls they would realise I'm not going to buy anything from them or sign up to anything.

number stated 'Sydney'- delayed response in voice coming through. Female voice asked to speak to 'Jessica' so hung up - scam call VERY likely

Keeps ringing my son’s GPS tracking watch (which has a security feature blocking calls from non selected numbers).

Driving me NUTS.

Why ring an 8yr old Autistic kid’s tracking watch? Number has NEVER been given out to ANYONE.

These people don't give up, I made the mistake of registering my details to be a 'secret shopper' stupid I know and now they won't stop calling. I just block every single time and hope that eventually they get sick of trying.

I am having the same problem with the scammers calling me several times a day on different numbers. I agree that the government needs to do something to stop this harassment and disclosure of our private numbers.

Like all, sick of these calls and ineffective nature of DNC register. My mobile and land line gets these calls and I'm not in the white pages!

Caller: Listed the numbers that have called me in last 24 hours,(02) 8015 6983, (02) 6188 5929, (02) 6181 1512, (02) 6100 5369, blocked them all, but they keep on coming

When asked where are they calling from he answered South Africa!! but the number says Sydney or others say Canberra.. Scam!!
