Answer plus stop calling if i get one more call from you i will publicly disgrace you through all media outlets and then report your to the telecommunications ombudsman. You people are very stupid.... And judging by all the complaints i am not alone.

I have had an issue with this number for over 3 months. I have had 10 calls in the last 3 days. I have blocked the number but i continue to get notifications. I have registered on the do not call register and made an official complaint with the ombadsman. The company is answer plus and they are a call centre company. I have tired to contact this company and i cannot get though as all numbers are disconnected or go straight to a message bank. See how the complaint goes. I don't this anything will happen as this number has been a problem for ages by the looks of things and not just me!!

I had two calls over two days. No one bothered to leave a message. When they eventually called during a break, I answered their call to be hit with the survey. I was not very forthcoming with my answers, eventually they tried arranging a call back with their funeral insurance provider. It was at this stage that I told them that the call had turned into a sales call, I was not interested and they were not to call this number again. I got another call today while I was home sick. A lot of the questions were answered with "None of your dam business"; the sales operator was not very happy and decided that he was wasting his time - he wanted to know why I was like this. When I told him I had told them not to call again, he apologized and told me he would put me on the "Do not call list". Let's see how long that lasts!!!!! If I hear from them again I will leave the line open and not talk to them. See how long they stay on the line!!!!!!!

Three calls so far today and this is my direct work number which they should not have been able to get as it is never given out. Then they hang up each time I say hello. Even if I don't identify as a business number.

After being harassed night & day by these idiots and a lot of others, I came up with a solution. I bought a new phone with a new number, I put all my friends and contacts into my new phone and now only answer calls that come up with a name I want to talk to. If any "unknown", "private" or number I don't know, rings my phone I don't answer and I don't have message bank. This way, the computers do not know the phone number is active - as soon as you pick up, they nail your phone number. I DID NOT give the new number to any bank, insurance company or government agency as these are the guys who are selling your phone numbers and details to the database collectors. I also put my old phone number on any raffle tickets or competitions I enter. They still have to ring my old number and then I choose if I answer it or not - if it is still a private number, they can leave a message - no message, no call back. I have changed my plan with the old number (it is prepaid) to $20 for 365 days as I don't make outgoing calls on it. I am prepared to wear $20 a year to have piece of mind.
What everyone has to remember is it is the businesses you trust the most that sell your details to all and sundry - next time you open a bank account, take out a loan or an insurance policy, read the fine print - it says they share your information with other people.

They have been calling my Mobile many times for days.. and it only rings 3 times and they stop.. I rang them back ALL I HEAR is Hello This is ANSWER PLUS we try to call you earlier.. And that is it!! Annoying......!!! when One has important things to do..How did they get hold of My Mobile Number.. If they Ring One more time I will report this number on My screen to the Police.. As simple as that..!

These guys are a call-centre for lead generation called Answer Plus. They'll start by asking you if you want to take a quick 1-minute survey about whatever (for me it was funeral / life / income protection insurance), and then lead into a pitch for whoever's retaining them. I agreed to take a callback out of curiosity, and got a call from a mob called "Let's Insure" selling crappy funeral insurance. Neither company bothered with Privacy Act or AFS Licensee disclosures.
