Received a call from this number, missed it, called back and was asked if my name was Nadine - they knew already, so I assume this was from some online thing I took part in. I asked who was calling and they said it was a courtesy call and if they could ask a few questions so that I don't receive calls from them again. I DIDN'T SAY YES! Guy goes on to talk about Life Insurance and funeral sh*t, so I hung up while he was talking - number is now blocked.

I keep getting phone calls from (02) 8014 7673 - 2-3 per day for over the last month, when I asked them for their details the only thing the caller would say was that they were a 24/7 referal company from Melbourne, I asked them what they wanted but she would not say, I would not confirm my identity to them and told them they probably had the wrong phone number.

Get 1-2 calls per day from different numbers. Half entered then cancelled entry in online competition a few weeks ago, think my number was kept and referred on to others. Can't block as it is a work mobile and I am not the legal owner.

Reciwved 2 missed calls from this number today. Really get tired of these...Don't even know how they get my number...

Downloaded a app for my phone "Call Blocker" now it doesn't even ring as soon as they try.. BLISS

Same number calling me too - not sure how that got my number...

For the past few weeks I've been getting phone calls everyday from this number among these others (02) 9008 1136, (08) 7123 2602 and (08) 7070 2532. And like most people I don't answer numbers I don't recognise, and after the call I put the number into Google, and find nothing but complaints about said phone numbers, and just block them. Getting pretty fed up with the fact that every time I block one number they use another number to try contact me. What a joke.

Hi Zane, unfortunately I still cop a lot of these phone calls from similar numbers with the same result, no one answering and hanging up on my answering service. It seems the more numbers I block, the more numbers they will try....

4 times today I've had a call from this number but when I answer there's just silence for a few moments then they hang up. The last time two guys were yelling in the background.
Also had numerous missed calls from the same number the past week

FFS... 45 minutes after calling them and being told they would remove my number from their system, they call. I told the girl again to remove my number and she would not take no for an answer!!! Insiting that I need funeral insurance amongst other policies that she could organise for me!!! I"M NOT INTERESTED AND YOU NEED TO STOP CALLING ME had zero effect on her, just kept on selling. Thank god for iphone's and their block number feature.

Same happened to me. I'm sure it's a funeral or life insurance telemarketer. Difficult to block, because they use multiple numbers, usually with an 02 or 03 prefix.

Just called them back after the bazillionth call from them and requested my number be removed from their records. He said he'd done it... fingers crossed.

I was receiving calls 3 times per day for 3 days straight! This is after they rang the first time and I asked them to take me off their list. Didn't happen. This went on for a while, the stopped. 2 weeks later, AGAIN! I had to ask them 3 times to stop calling me or I would take matters further. Finally, it has stopped. How bloody annoying, as they use different numbers calling for Insurance Line and I use my phone for work and answer it in case it's a client.

I have started compiling a list of the telemarketing numbers, so when I have a spare few $$ credits left on mobile, before rollover, I can call them and give them a hard time. Slowly but surely some are getting the message. It's called fighting fire with fire or better known as backburning. Good luck everyone.
