A friend on mine had a similar call. Luckily she was not convinced, took their details and asked about it.The number they gave to call back on was 02022186362This is in the UK, it seems that alot of the calls above are to Australia, however they are trying to Scam the UK too.

Are we really debating whether or not to give direct access to our computers to someone from whom we receive an unsolicited phone call?        Who only tells us that there is a fee after that?       Did we think that it was a Charity calling and that they would fix things at no charge?    Do we believe our computers are safe when connected to someone about whom we know absoloutely nothing?

Don't bother answering.    Just think it through.

My gosh these people are still phoning me!! will they ever get the hint that I know they are a scam and that have already ripped me off once (luckily I got my money back!) do they really think that they can do it again?!?!?Although telling them that you dont have a computer works pretty well, they just hang up on you (guess that just proves that they are BS'n about getting error reports from my computer!)

Hey darl it was sebastion parker that rang me & he threatened me when i got on to paypal he told me he was going to fill my computer full of viruses so i wouldnt be able to use it anymore & that i would be good for the bin cos no-one would be able to fix it,grrrrrrrrr
