Gave me a reference number to quote supervisor.
Called them back and they hung up after I quick the female supervisor.

Person called me saying they were from a government dept and that the govt wanted to give me a refund of over $5000. To confirm my acceptance I had to ring this number quoting the number TG13.They knew my full Christian name - which is not in the phone book - and my birthday.

Read the post right above yours for the answer. If this company was legit, they would never charge you for a prize you won. Delete the SMS, do not reply to it in case it can be used to hack your device or your contact list. Google Nigerian 419 scam for further information.

These scammers have lots of ways of getting names, address and dates of birth.  They do not rely on the 'phone book.  The main thing is that, if your Government is like ours in the UK, it would take thumb screws and matches under their fingernails to get them to refund any money to Joe Pubic.  Even if they have money for us there would be 3 miles of paperwork, in triplicate, to fill in, not just a 'phone call.
