had a call this afternoon to update the information for my business online. She quoted the 6mths for $249 deal and then said I can have it for a year for double that with a youtube video of my services for a year. Stupidly I gave my card number and then didn't twig until she asked for the CVV number on the back. Finally the penny dropped and I wouldn't give it to her and told her to email me. She said she had but now I'm home - no email and no debit from my account. I think I've had a lucky escape ... hopefully. Yes I know ... stupid!

yep same here today ,similar history like you. Its a call center in Bombay with regards to an adress in Sydney cbd ( Adress is in the QVB!!)Its a hoax to undertake SEO for $700 annual..hands off!!

They called and said I had a listing with them when I don't. They are obviously targeting people with Yellow Pages ads.

Very suspicious. The person who called me had a very strong accent and he hung up when I queried why he was calling me.

Just got a call from this bunch, they are apparently updating my details. He asked me some totally unnecessary questions, answers that he was able to find by simply looking into the ad he was referring to. Hard to understand but it sounded like English.

What an annoying ***. Could not understand what the hell they were on about. Sounded almost like english though. Told them I wasn't interested and hung up but then they rang straight back. Retards.

They rang me heaps of times and I tried ringing back number of times and they didn't answer. I assumed if they rang me 3 times in one hour, it must be important.

Same as most others, called and left a 30sec message of nothing but background noise.

I've just had a call from this number - Guy with a weird accent (sounded kind of American - but weirder) Said he was from Gumtree (where I have an advert) & wanted to check if my contact details were correct - well gee! - if he was talking to me I guess the details are correct - duh! I refused & he hung up.

Just tried calling me, too; I only launched my business a few days ago. This is terribly annoying and very frustrating.

Called me just now! Tried to sell me online directory listing, guaranteeing that I would be top of this list when folks looked my services up on the net. It was going to cost $249 for 6 months. When I proceeded to tell him no, I couldnt afford that, AND that I was suspiscious, he asked me and didnt believe that I could not send him the $249. BEWARE, Be very AWARE of these ones! Bloody spammers/telemarketers - p**S me off!

just missed a call from this no., only rang about 3-4 times... no msg, no vm etc...

I've had two missed calls over the last two days. There is a voicemail on my mobile yet no one has left a message. I have tried calling the number back yet as the person above mentioned, it simply rings out! I truly hope this number isn't planning on calling me over and over!
