Same as above.. Sounded like they were calling from India as Telstra reps saying that our computer had a technical error and that Internet would be cut off in 4 hours. When my husband asked them to send us an email detaing the issues, they hung up.

Parents Just had a call from (02) 8007 5639 claiming to be from Telstra saying someone was hacking our phone and using the phone illegally and that we had to pay $6:00 into their account before they sent a technician out. When I refused, they got nasty and threatened to cut off Internet and phone. (They don't have Internet). Rang Telstra as well as my parents provider and neither had knowledge of this. Both said it sounded like a scam.

This number is fake and scamming old people, we have directed this to Interpol
