Said he was from Telstra, said my computer had been hacked and needed to be cleaned. Took me thru a series of screens to prom the event log was full of Hacks. Absolute Crook....Just a Low down Indian scum. I'm really sick of these pricks. Why don't they get a real job and stop scamming Honest elderly people.

Yes these guys are calling my father on behalf of Telstra several times per day stating that they are connecting him to the NBN. They have downloaded software and seems to be identity theft. Low scum targeting the aged with IT jargon using a BlueChip name we trust. Beware and call Telstra directly if in doubt!

As above - I am from Telstra and we are telling you your computer has been hacked and we know your computer id to be able to follow when hacker use your computer. Obviously from an Indian call centre, with very bad internet phone connection & unprofessional caller, ie not Telstra. I hung up on caller.

Number showed up as Private. Told me I am from Telstra and we are telling you your computer has been hacked. Gave me this number to call back and ask for Mark. I could tell by the delay between me speaking and him answering that the call was not from Australia.

I am from Telstra and we are telling you your computer has been hacked and we know your computer id to be able to follow when hacker use your computer. Asked me to press windows +R so he can tell me how to fix the problem. Even stated he was from Telstra IT and located in North Sydney. I told them I would speak to my internet provider to sort this out and he said my own internet provider doesn't know only Telstra does as they are the holders of all internet.
