Caller: The number (02) 8007 4300 They claimed to be from Telstra NBN trying to fix your internet which they reckoned has been hacked. They managed to make me believe by giving me the number to call back and their name and ID number. They asked me to do team viewer so they can check my PC. They talked as if they are instructed by the government to clean up some internet which is about to be hacked including mine. Then they started asking to check for bank account which made me so uncomfortable and suspicious. Why have to check the bank account with them ? They started to get irritated when I refused to do it, then he asked me to go to another website under Bank Security which also asked to put which bank you are with. I became so much more suspicious so I told him that I will not do it and I hang up.
They are the bloody scammers/ hackers who are trying to steal from you and me.
BEWARE OF THEM, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CHANCE TO SPEAK TO YOU, IF THE PHONE RINGS, JUST HANG UP !!
