Indian guy with heavy Indian accent called pretending to be from ATO and asked for payment in iTune cards.
Chinese don't need iTunes btw. They listen to Chinese songs. Chinese songs are widely available on other platforms... mostly for free.

Caller: Claiming to be ATO claimed I owed for unpaid taxes Chinese guy called himself Jeff Cooper said i owed the ATO 8 grans and had 45 minutes to pay them back. Asked me how much I had on me - to stop a warrant for my arrest, which would lead to 5 years in jail, and then made me go down the post office and buy $250 worth of iTunes cards- & read the numbers out to him. Then put me on to his 'supervisor' another chinese guy who said he would need $2000 within two hours to stop my 'arrest.' Called my brother and he advised me this is NOT how the ATO operates - expensive lesson learned!
