I got a call from this number, obviously an overseas call caller, Poor line quality & a lot of noise in the background . He was claiming that I had a problem with my computer and that if I gave them my identification number, they would then fix the problem. He claimed to be a company working in Sydney called Micro assist. He said his name was Patrick Edwards, he gave me this phone number. I hung up and rang the number, and it was answered by a Robert Edwards when I asked how many people called Edwards work there, he giggled! Obviously a scam!

Numerous calls claiming they are from Microsoft asking for a $500 payment... firstly his name was Steve Jordon than it was Ryan Edwards! Keep calling and harassing me

Claimed to be Alex from Telstra technical dept re slow internet. I said I thought he was talking sh*t. Rang back number and another Indian sounding voice answered. They rang again and I asked why their number came up as being private and then hung up

Same name Ryan Williams (02) 8006 9558 Microassist in Martin Place Sydney. Wanted me to open up my computer and fix a problem.
I took all his info and rang back and got someone else.

Googled this business name, not one in Australia! Beware Scammers.

Had a phone call from Ryan Williams claiming to be from Micro Assist Dept. Gave his Employment No DC07267, Phone (02) 8006 9558. Claimed I had a problem with my computer and wanted to verify the licence no on my computer against what he had (which was the same). Then wanted me to type in another number which I didn't. It was at this stage I asked for his phone number whereupon he gave me his employee ID, Name and phone number. It was at this stage that i hung up.

3rd August 2016.
Same return phone number (02) 8006 9558), gave their address as 14 Lonsdale Street, Sydney, but strangely I can't find it. Person had foreign accent and claimed to be Steve Jordan from Micro Assist. Obviously still at same old scam.

Had a call from Ryan Williams telling me that I had a problem with my computer and tried to get me to open it while he guided me through how to fix it. He said he was from Excellent Tech Control based in Martin Place Sydney. Knowing it was a scam, I said I'd call him back asking for his number - (02) 8006 9558.

My 82 year old father got this same phone call - after I asked a handful of questions they hungup on me. I called back another 50 times and wasted their time. Hopefully they wont call back now.

i got a call from 2 idiot they are harrasing me from past 2 days connected my computer to them and destroyed aswell .. ryan williams and james watson ... people be alert with scammers like this

I had a call from (02) 8006 9558 "pretending to be from Microsoft Windows" asking for a laptop serial number. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION. THEY ARE BUNCH OF SCAMS. I HAVE TOLD THEM OFF AND FULL OF B****T.

I had a call from a 'Ryan Williams'. Same story - bad phone line, needed to fix error messages on my computer. Gave me the 8006 9558 number when I questioned his credentials.

Non anglo speaking tosser with an Anglo Name Brendon Reid. Incapable of answering no script questions. Pushing to log onto windows computer. Scammer using social techniques to get info. Gave above number. Drilled him until he hung up. There will be another one after him no doubt. Also gave the adress 14 MARTIN PLACE SYDNEY 2000. Did not know Sfa about that place or where it was.

Caller stated that I had a problem with my computer. Lot of background noise, caller difficult to understand. I asked for a call back number and was given (02) 8006 9558. Said his name was Michael and when I asked where he was calling from, he told me Sydney.

Call came from this no (02) 8006 9558 at 4pm 9th Sept.,2015 saying i had a computer problem. Claimed they were from Telstra, name Ryan Edward, [ reference T2525} checked with Telstra & told me this was a scam.

Telstra Staff ID's start with C or D not KS

We have had a claim from this number ( Steve Jordan ) telling us also problem

with our computer . Said he was from Telstra..ID number KS41833 .

Rang Telstra and was told HE IS A SCAMMER...... !!!!!
