Caller: Scam

This number left a voice message (digital voice) stating they were from the ATO and I was in involved in a court case and to phone them immediately. This obviously a scam and have reported the call. Please be aware.

Didn't answer, saw it was a sydney number and assumed it was a scam of some type.

I got a call from this number 3 times when i answered a prerecorded voice said it was the ATO and if i didn't call them back there would be a warrant for my arrest. i called the ATO scam line and they confirmed it was a scam.

Fruity scammers. Not sure if people are stupid enough to fall for this stuff.

They rang me and tried to get $3600. They wanted half right then and there . Told me I’d go to jail if I didn’t at least pay half .

This number called digital voice said from ATO, I was in court case and if I didn't - thought it was a scam so hung up. Glad to see if was. Don't respond with any information. Just hang up.

I receive a phone call from (02) 8006 9452. I am pretty sure it is a scam. How do I report this number and where to?

Caller: Purportedly the ATO

they didn't want to talk to me when I rang them back, after multiple attempts to get through. Don't think they liked my line of questioning. maybe if more people rang them back to waste their time they'd stop wasting ours!!

I don't answer any private numbers or calls I don't know and always check them here. This number will be going on my blocked calls list. Thanks for the heads up Dee.

Looks like another round of ATO Scams. Recorded Message said I was going to be arrested unless I called back.

I just received the same phone call as Dee where it advises that the ATO is filing a law suit against me and that I need to call back (02) 8006 9452.

SCAM - block this caller!

I recieved a call from this number, they hung up before saying anything. I'm assuming an ATO scam. I recieved an ATO scam call a couple of days ago from a different sydney number

I am presuming the same scam as above - just called - did not leave a message. There are a number of ATO scams at moment with either a NSW number or a Victorian number.

ATO scam.
Automated voice telling me I'm going to be jailed and then thanking me at the end of the call.

Do not answer this number it’s a scam, saying they are from the ATO. When I started asking question he told me I was a”mother f*cker” and hang up. Watch out.

I called back - they couldn't spell my name despite a dozen attempts. Then said in order to ensure they were only supplying confidential data to the correct person can I please confirm my DOB, address etc etc. As soon as I said no, i won't give you any information you can tell me what you have and I can confirm it, they promptly hung up....SCAM....
