I will ring back tomorrow as I have call recording on my phone and will record the conversation and notify the relevant authorities.

I received a call saying it was from the Government and that I was to receive a cheque for $7000.00 because I had overpaid GST. I was given a reference code #KH193 and told to speak to either Julia Joseph or Andrew Anderson. They had my correct address but not my correct name. I gave them a false name and date of birth and the woman did not question that. I then looked up the phone number (02) 8800 6694 in your website and got no results. My phone said private number. I am reluctant to call this number as it does not sound legitimate to me.
