This is a scam and I stupidly provided by driver's license number. They have ordered two phones under my name and I am in the process of cancelling these orders but it's a complete nightmare to be honest, bottom line - do not give any details over the phone.

Same as the others, scammers pretending to be optus offering a covid discount deal. Wanting DOB, email address, etc

Call you pretending they are from optus and they are offering a 50% discount on your bill for the 3 months due to COVID. They ask you if you'd like to take this offer and if so you provide details to them. Please be careful
