Spam. They called me saying they were the Australian Taxation Office, said I owed them money and that I violated the rules

kept pushing and pushing me, saying I will get arrested.
I said where's the proof of evidence that I violated these? any letters? emails? they could not back up what they said and kept saying "we're going to hang up the phone, and you're going to be arrested". The guy was Indian too. f*cken scammers.

Hi They said they were from Paypal and a purchase had been made using my account. I went to "hold" straight away and I think that's there key - to log into your phone. I've been scammed by so called "Paypal" before.
Why can't these people just rack off and why can't we feel safe anymore.

Check with your accountant or myGov account for ATO correspondence if unsure ... not the scammers who called you.

Claiming that i was involved in a car accident and to call her back on (02) 8006 4286 and their website was thelegalassetgroup. They could not provide me a reference number for the call. I checked the website it's not legit and the phone number of her was a mobile number 0428 093 216. Scam call .

(02) 8006 3678 Australia - call came in at 7:59pm- I have not answered any 02 numbers for over 12 months. If a 'town or suburb is not listed under the number on your screen then do not answer it.

They called me saying they were the investigations department of The Australian taxation office, surely that’s illegal, why can’t they be shut down?

Symbio Networks www.symbionetworks.com is the VoIP provider for this number. So why not give them a call on 1300 789 653 and ask them to stop the scammers
