Was a message left of my voicemail saying a law suit was filled against me and if I didn’t call them back a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Called the number back and it rang out

100% scam

Caller: American accent

Said law suit against me for taxes if I didn't ring back I would be arrested

got a call robo message re lawsuit rang back answered but no response says they are from Australian tax office

Caller: I got a voicemail that was some sort of recorded voice

Scammer that said there is a lawsuit under your name and if you don't contact us immidiately we will going to issue your arrest warant. i have given a call back and nobody attends. I know thats not how it works, if there is any lawsuit against anyone they must have to issue a written notice to whom it involves and mostly court orders been personally delivered by one of the police constable and they get your signature done with ID check. Lastly, there is no lawsuit filed against me, its just a bullsh*t..........

Also contacted by this number. Robocall with American Voice Message saying there is a lawsuit filed against me and to contact immediately.

I just had the exact same experience- I don’t think my phone rang but a missed call appeared and a voicemail was left: You missed a call from (02) 8006 2702, who said "The reason behind Cole is that there is a last(?) suitcase(?) is getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department of." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you.

Robo calling. Same as previous response. Saying there was a lawsuit against me from the ATO.... don't call the number you will be charged for the calls. Not sure how it is all working but what a crock...

I had 2nd call from this number, pretending to be from Audit section of ATO. If I do not call them back than they will issue a search warrant?

Scam call from ATO claiming tax fraud and imminent arrest. Asking to call back.

Threatened to arrest me if I didn't call back

Recorded American male voicestating to be from the taxation office claiming a law suit is being filed under my name and to call him on his department number (02) 8006 2702. If they don't hear from me they will issue a direct warrant under my name and get me arrested.

I called back number (02) 8006 2702 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
