SCAM. Said they were from Telstra and wanted my details.

Same thing, scam, claiming to be from Telstra ad about to cut my internet off for 1 month due to unusual activity. Might have believed them, IF I WAS WITH TELSTRA!!!!!!

They ring saying they are an insurance company

Just had a call from an Indian accented person claiming to be from Telstra. She said that my computer was being hacked and I needed to go home and log onto the computer so they can fix it and if I didn't then I would lose my internet for 3 months! What a joke!
Beware of calls from this number as they want access to your computer so they can steal all your banking passwords etc.!
IT'S A SCAM!!!

Phone call received from/ (02) 8006 2198 at 3.18PM 22/04/2017. Returned phone call and it says the number you have called is not connected...must have been connected when the number was used to make the phone call

Mark from this No. rang me to advise my Telstra line would be disconnected for three months. I just hung up on him.
