I answered the phone and got no answer at the other end. I waited a while and said hello again, still no answer. So now am I going to be scammed? Very, very upsetting. Now have blocked this caller.

Caller: Some kind of scammer. Phone rang, I answered, Indian voice stated on some script then the call dropped.
Why is it that it is almost 2020 and governments, law enforcement and telcos/Skype world wide are unable to do anything to stop these bastards from calling? I get at least one call every day from scammers trying to either get me to switch energy companies or something about solar. It’s all lies and scams, and every person you talk to receives the same calls, but in the days where we can log onto a computer and send a bomb half way around the world and through someone’s front door, ISP’s, VOIP providers and payment providers aren’t smart enough to detect scammers?
They almost all originate from one country, and even then it’s from a very small region in that country, but oh no, we can’t stop it. People on YouTube have located scammers, identified the people involved and contacted authorities who did exactly nothing.
How many people are being paid off to allow these calls to continue?

Anonymous I WOULD NOT DO THAT because even though what they are doing is bogus AND annoying. They can and probably would sue you. Just be careful!

Very suspicious as the phone says call failed. Feel like blasting a whistle into their ear for consistent & persistent nuisance calls.

Did not recognise number so did not pick up. They left no message so it probably is a spam. Checked here, see they are, blocked number now.
