This is a common scam.Definitely not legitimate.

My grandmother received an unsolicited call from this number from a lady called Jennifer Smith who initially identified herself as from Microsoft. She claimed my grandmother had a virus in her computer and, considering my grandmother has no knowledge of computers, and in trying to "fix" the problem tricked her into providing remote access to her system (I say "tricked" as my grandmother would never have allowed access if she had known what she was doing). She also appeared to be trying to sell her some sort of virus protection software. She directed my grandmother to a website called "technicalPCsupport" but I am not sure if she is from that company or not, or was trying to make herself sound more genuine.I have no idea whether this was a genuine sales pitch or a fraudulent system access. But please beware of calls from this number!
