Voicemail saying arrest warrant. Called back, she( nochole smith) told that she is from ato audit saying i can not lodge me tax myself. Need to pay 6000 but i can not contact to local police if i did penalty exceeds to 97k. OMG got bad headache with this call.

I got a missed call from (02) 8005 8350. The voicemail left was an automated robotic sounding voice in an American accent, claiming to be the ATO saying that a lawsuit was being made and that if I didn't call back 8005 8350 an arrest warrant would be made.

SCAM do not call back!

My dad has had the same call and when he called the real ATO they said they only contact people by e-mail or regular snail mail. They do not cold call.

I presume another Indian call centre scam. The best thing is to not call back and they will stop calling you.

I got a call claiming to be the ATO from (02) 8005 4877 scam for sure

I didn't call back but they left an automated Voicemail telling me if I didn't call back, they would issue an arrest warrant.

Scammer saying they were from ATO asking for name etc.

Scam from Indian guy. Ask bank details or card details try to get money.

Scam claiming ATO to refund the tax I told them to give the amount to charity because I know these guys are scammers they hang up with out any question

Very heavy accent, called from this number and hung up, when I called back advised me he was Daniel from the ATO - had refund to return to me. When I enquired what the refund was for, he hung up. Lots of noise in the background like a call centre.

I played along with a call from the ATO today but they didn’t like it when I continued giving them a fake credit card!
