My wife received a call on Thursday (06.09.012) around 12.30p.m from a lady with an Indian accent advising that she was from the government and that because we've been overcharged for the electricity over the years and we were to receive an amount of $5248.77. She asked my wife to call a lady by the name of Sheryn Johston on the abovementioned phone number in order to obtain the refund. I rang that number and Sheryn asked me to go to the post office and make a deposit of $199.00 (which represented the legal fees which the government has spent) by using a  Western Union deposit form. I was supposed to ring her when I had that deposit form for her to give me the account details for the payment. After the payment was done I was supposed to ring her and give her the receipt number and she would then deposit $5248.77 in my CBA account which I had already given to her before she asked me to make that deposit. This obviously is a scam and someone had to look into this matter as I undersatand they have already conned a lot of people.

This is a scam do not listen to them, they act rude and are scammers
