Caller: "Mark Armstrong"

Got a missed call from them, I immediately knew it was a scam due to them using basic google text-to-speech to send an "automted message" for non-existent malicious activity on my account. lol

I just clowned on them for about 5 minutes before they hung up
The indian guys fake name was Mark Armstrong lmao

Caller: Australian Tax Department

Had Missed Call from (02) 8005 6458 and he "Claimed" to be from the Tax Department. I had messages left saying that there was fraudulent actions being done on my Tax Account. I confirmed with them my Date of Birth, and that is as far as I went with them. I asked what fraudulent activity was being done, and he couldn't answer. I kept asking and he kept telling me that he can't tell me until I have given him all my answers to security questions. Which I was obviously not providing to him. I didn't pick up the accent right away until he started flustering and sounded like he was reading from a script. Once I got him angry enough he said well just block this number and a Warrant will be processed and you will be arrested. I said Good Luck and hung up. I have been harrassed by this number since hanging up a further 3 times in a space of 10 minutes before being able to block the number.

Received a voicemail with a robo voice stating “back on same number before we take any legal action. I repeat, press 1”No other information provided

27th January 2022 Received a recorded message- stating from Security Department. Australian recorded voice. I did not listen any further

Received a call from Marcus Jones (who spoke with a strong indian accent) who claimed i had $5788.00 in unfair bank charges owed to me. Marcus was unable to tell me the details of where these charges were from and wanted me to confirm my First Name, the bank i usually banked with and my date of birth. I declined to provide this information. Marcus became flustered when i declined to provide this information. I requested to call him back he provided me with phone no (02) 8005 6458, I called this phone no back and it sounded like a busy call centre. The person who answered the phone spoke to quickly for me to catch the business name initially. I asked which business i had called and was advised that it was a Federal Government business named Bank Reclaim Experts.

david warner called my home number saying i could get $6114 back and only thing i need to do is go to post office grab a western union form then ring (02) 8005 6458.  
he said he's from bank refund department, i asked who is the department secretary, he couldn't provide a name but promised me his department is part of ministry of finance.
david has an indian accent.

i also recieved a phone call from a ' sophia johnson' from the 'reclaim exposed' department telling me they had money for me that my bank have overcharged me. 'sophia' then told me i would have to go down to the post office to recieve the money and i would need id. she then ask me to give her my drivers licence number so i could prove who i was at the post office. i said i didnt have a drivers licence or passport or any photo id to show. so then i had to go to the post office and fill out a form and pay a small administration fee. i then proceeded to tell her im not giving money to anyone and did she relise that i am a single mother on a pension???? and what she was doing was a scam??? and i got she got found out and punished for doing this. always ask for a number and then google it.

i got this same phone call from a lady named suzan, she also had a strong indian accent, and when we asked her simple questions like "what company do you work for" "why do i have to pay this fee" the ladie could not answer without flustering and panicing.. she then said she will call back with her manager, she was insiting that i go to the post office within the next fifteen minutes to collect the forms and didnt want me to wait till three thirty, i knew this was a scam and played along.. when the manager came on the phone and i told him i thought this was a scam he started yelling at me, telling me i was wasting his time. we both started arguing on the phone, and i told him if he was really from the government agencie he would not be able to talk to me in this way, he then yelled, told me to shutup and hungup the phone!!! there are too many un answered questions and suspiscions to take these people seriously.. if scaming people is what they do for a living, they should really get more practice in sounding professional!

i had the same thing happen to me at 9.45am today, i was very sceptic by the call, his name was ALEX calling from AUSTRALIA COUNCIL BANK RECLAIM DEPARTMENT,,,, he gave me a number to call back on its 02800-56458 and he knew so much of my details it was scary, he wanted me to go to the post office today to pick up 2 forms along with showing them my ID!! he also wants me to pay a refundable fee.. of $120. in order  to claim the $3,436 they apparently owe me!!!! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP !!!  after reading these simular stories it has confirmed to me that its a SCAM!! i have a report number to report any calls that are NOT LIGIT 1300 304 054. they track them down for you to stop it from happening to any one else.... so if any one gets a call from this so called refund B.. CRAP  call the 1300 number ..
