Got a call from this number claiming to be Telstra to tell me that my internet connection was going to be disconnected. Quoted his name as Tim Watson and his employer ID as t731103. Reported to the scam hotline.

Have just had a call from 'John Williams claiming to be from telstra' it was difficult to understand his sub-continental accident but he wanted me to sit at my computer and he would help me fix it. I took his number and told him I would ring him back when my tech friend came home. He gave me the above number but kept on insisting that I should do it immediately. I hung up.

Harry Smith with strong accent called from Telstra - I said I would call back, I couldn't fully understand but something about downloads. I am waiting on a call from Testra regarding NBN - but I think this is a scam

Had the same call from an Indian lady who claimed that her name was Anna de Souza and that she was from Telstra's Technical Department (employee ID D650650120). She claimed that my internet connection would be terminated within 30 minutes (this call was about an hour ago). I sensed a scam and said that I don't have time to talk to her. She said that I should be concerned about having my internet connection terminated - but I said if Telstra is really concerned they should have sent me an email or letter. I hung up. Tried to contact Telstra but with no luck but I found on Telstra's crowd support and ACCC's scam watch websites that this is a common scam now. So in the future just hang up.

I was just called from this number by Telstra, supposedly, saying I'd been hacked and they would help me fix it. Obviously a call coming from India, and it didn't sound like Telstra at all.

Had an aggressive call from this number claiming to be Telstra and that he was going to disconnect our internet.. After some investigation from Telstra I found that it was a scam.

Received a phone call from this number claiming to be Telstra. We're in fact, scam artists. Don't fall for these guys.
