Goes into a long rant about you have a warrant out for your arrest & if you don't call back you will serve a jail sentence ...

You missed a call from (02) 8005 1523, who said "To inform you that your account has marked lien for tax avoidation(?). Paperworks sent to registered address has also returned back unsigned and undelivered. For this ___." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you.

Multiple calls to my mobile.
When call is returned they answer with "Hello, Australian Tax Office" (and when you point out that the ATO is extremely unlikely to answer their phone directly they hang up.

warrant for arrest scam call

Called me but never replied. The caller automatically hung up after 10 seconds.

Feels like a scam number, recorded message about being issued a warrant.

No sound, after 5 seconds, the phone just hug up.

definately its a scam call.

but this time I tried to call back and Indian scumbag picked up the call and telling me that he is from ATO

rung me then when i answered they hung up. called back andcould unfprtunately bear some indian bloke scamming someone.

Tax allegation, threaten for arrest, warrant for arrest, robotic voice. Called ATO directly and they advised is a scam, they don't go around arresting people and the robotic voice and the number is probably offshore activity disguised as ATO. Do not engage with them, do not call back, do not give them any money - scam
