I received a phone call about my computer i thought that they are from microsoft but they not from. I connect my computer from global dpartment and they resolve my problem and i took the software maintanance warrenty from them.They call to me every 15 or 20 days to ask any problem about my computer. I also call them on this number for take service to my computer. They are not scam

I got a call off these today aswell but the number was witheld. Again they tried to claim there was a problem with my PC. I had heard of this scam already so I messed around with for about ten minutes and said I'd call him back, obviously I didn't and he rang back after a couple of minutes!! I messed around with his head some more before proceeding to tell him I knew it was a scam and laughed down the phone at him, he then told me to f*#k off which made me laugh even loader. If we can get enough people in the know about this scam and everyone does the same I'm sure we can get them to stop! By the way I'm from Ireland so it looks like they are doing it worldwide.

i kept getting calls from this number saying my computer is in trouble. I said im busy so they said ok call us back before 9pm or anytime tomorrow. he gave me the phone number (02) 8005 1494 and the name David Jones from Microsoft technical support. I said ok ill call back and gave him the name jo. I do have a Mac book computer so its very funny that he's from microsoft. He knew my last name though and I was wondering how someone from India could get that information. Does anyone know?

On Monday 15 November, at about 6pm I had an unsolicited phone-call from a person with an Indian accent who introduced himself as a representative of a company named Techsupportkol.com, who said they had an office at 64 George St in Sydney, also in Bradford, UK. He told me my computer had a security problem which his company would be able to fix and asked me to open my computer to have a look at it.Sounded like a scam.

Received call 1st March 2011 in Melbourne Australia, claiming to have detected a problem on my computer. When I asked for their number, they gave me (02) 8005 1494 (Sydney number). He wanted to "help" me fix it now. Not likely!

techsupportkol is a complete scam. they operate from India.I am getting reported by Queensland police and also they are tracing all the phone calls to find the victim.
