I got a call off these today aswell but the number was witheld. Again they tried to claim there was a problem with my PC. I had heard of this scam already so I messed around with for about ten minutes and said I'd call him back, obviously I didn't and he rang back after a couple of minutes!! I messed around with his head some more before proceeding to tell him I knew it was a scam and laughed down the phone at him, he then told me to f*#k off which made me laugh even loader. If we can get enough people in the know about this scam and everyone does the same I'm sure we can get them to stop! By the way I'm from Ireland so it looks like they are doing it worldwide.

hahaha,  that clown just rang me too, I have known about this for sometime too.  I thought I would play with him and let him go on and on for 15 minutes.  Then I let him know that I am a Systems Engineer and have been an MCSE for over 10 years, he was preaching to the wrong choir and should be disgraced with himself.  He got pretty upset and told me I was "bullsh*tting" him, sounded pretty funny in an indian accent too.  He then had a hissy fit and hung up.  Definitely made my night as I know that whilst he was being tied up with me he wasn't harrassing some other poor bugger.  I feel sorry for those out there who do not know about it.  Cheers, Jason

techsupportkol is a complete scam. they operate from India,that you can find from website directory .They don't have any technical certificate to provide technical support, its a complete lie if they says they are connected with Microsoft or windows. so far they have no connection with any professional technical concern. they just buy leads (Australian telephone no with name) and call them to scam only.I reported to Queensland police and they assured me, they will find out the victim soon.

These guys contacted me today - actually another household member took a message: I was out. Basically the same speil as reported above, but this time they're using (02) 8003 4343.  I'm in Tas, BTW.They knew my surname but not, so far as I know, my given name.

Someone from this number rang (on 28/01/2011) my sister-in-law telling her that "there were problems with her computer" and tried to get her to allow a remote session with them, they reckened they were from Microsoft and that they were the "Global Software Servicing Dept." when she rang them back after checking with me. Obviously it's a scam and these people (no doubt operating from India and using localised VOIP numbers) should be shut down.
If these scum call you DO NOT give them any details or let them remote to your PC.

Is a costumer care number no body can call from this number because i call to this number for resolve of my outlook problem, computer speed and for my security. They are not scamming with anyone i think.
