(02) 8005 14954 Is a costumer care number no body can call from this number because i call to this number for resolve of my outlook problem, computer speed and for my security. They are not scamming with anyone i think.

411 online.  There are 411 online services n if u have a published number, they will have ur last name.

Someone from this number rang (on 28/01/2011) my sister-in-law telling her that "there were problems with her computer" and tried to get her to allow a remote session with them, they reckened they were from Microsoft and that they were the "Global Software Servicing Dept." when she rang them back after checking with me. Obviously it's a scam and these people (no doubt operating from India and using localised VOIP numbers) should be shut down.
If these scum call you DO NOT give them any details or let them remote to your PC.

I got a call off these today aswell but the number was witheld. Again they tried to claim there was a problem with my PC. I had heard of this scam already so I messed around with for about ten minutes and said I'd call him back, obviously I didn't and he rang back after a couple of minutes!! I messed around with his head some more before proceeding to tell him I knew it was a scam and laughed down the phone at him, he then told me to f*#k off which made me laugh even loader. If we can get enough people in the know about this scam and everyone does the same I'm sure we can get them to stop! By the way I'm from Ireland so it looks like they are doing it worldwide.

YES IT IS A SCAM.

Under no circumstances give these people access to your computer.

They get you to open a certain file on your computer and then they say "OH you have a lot of viruses, sir..."

It's a normal error file which exist on every computer. Just tell them to get F@#$%ed. It's the only way to get rid if them... or tell them you have an iMac, ha, ha.....
