Caller: David Wilson - said he was nbn

This is a scam number. My father in law received a call from an “nbn” guy who had a Philippine or Indonesian accent. The guy said there were “Security” problems with the internet connection. They asked for billing and account details. At the time, my fathers internet was “down” and he was expecting a call from the ISP - so it seemed convincing at the time. The guy wanted to instruct my father to go to his computer and “connect the internet to the computer”. As this was a confusing request - as his internet was down - he called me and got the guys details. The guy said his name was David Wilson and gave a phone number as (02) 8005 1081 - which I later called and it got through to the same people. After speaking to this guy for a few minutes I could tell he was a scammer and so I hung up. Luckily my father did not give him account details, and as the internet was down they could not remote control his computer. We were lucky.
