Claiming to be "Sam Wood (with the thickest indian accent" from Injury Management from RMS and that a relative has been in an accident and claiming to be a solicitor. This is 200% a SCAM so do not give in as RMS do not call unless you have made a claim.
I told them I will report them to Police as it is a scam and I would suggest others do the same.

Received a call state from accident claims and that someone from my number has had an accident in the last 2 years. He had an Indian accent and when asked where they were calling from, he said Commonwealth claims, they are in Sydney. I just said "I don't think so" and I hung up.

Said they were from the Road Safety Authority which is part of the Roads and Maritime Service (RMS). He said they also deal with workplace injuries. When I told him the RMS doesn't deal with workplace injuries, he just reverted to his script and talked over the top of me. He said their website is www.injuryhelps.com (not game to visit it tho' who knows what nasty viruses you might pick up). Why can't something be done about people who try and say they're from a government authority??

Received a call from this number today (Indian accent). Very similar script to other comments on this thread. "Received information that you had been in an accident etc etc". When questioned about where and how they got my number the caller advised the Road Safety Bureau had provided it and they needed information for a "Compensation file" and advised he was working for a company called "Common Law Claims".
Cross questioned caller a number of times and it quickly became apparent he was working from a pre-prepared script and was a scam. I advised caller that he had called on a silent number and it was registered on the DNC register. I also advised that the call would be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Asked for contact details, location and names and caller provided the same "20 MLC Centre" but was unable to give street address, floor or other information. I also asked for file reference number(s), date, time and place of alleged incident and registration number(s), make(s), model(s) and number(s) of other vehicles also involved. At this time he reverted back to "We have been given this number by the Road Safety Bureau" script.
Obviously they are getting used to people being suspicious and hoping that if they continue with the script people will give them what they want.

Called me again today, 2nd time. Call takes about 5 seconds to connect. Stated they had been advised someone at this number had been in an accident in the last 2 years (Indian accent) . Told them I know what's going on and it was a scam. I then got yelled at and told to listen to him, i then ended the call.

45 calls or more to a business address- when I answered with company name they put phone down in ear When I played along I was asked if I had an accident in last 2 years When I said yes, they asked me if I was the only one in the accident or if there were others in the house who were affected. When I said no, put phone down in ear.

Caller ID showed this number. I never pick up unknown numbers. If it is important they will phone back or contact me or leave a message. I looked the number up to see if it might identify who it was and I'm so glad I didn't pick up!!

Said that they had information that someone at this number had an accident in the last two years. I insisted on a full name and an address they gave David Johnson after explaining that people have a first and a second name and the address given was 20 MLC Centre Sydney but could not give the street address. When I prompted that a building name is not an address and that the call was being traced, they hung up. I called back from a blocked number and the same person answered. I asked for the Managing Directors details as I had some important information to send him, he immediately assumed it was a complaint but insisted that I had to speak with him first then hung up when I told him it was none of his business.

Same report as others - Indian accents wanting to know if I had been in an accident in the last three years. When I queried the matter they said they had dialled the wrong number. They rang again 2 hours later. Obviously a scam.
