They're not breaching anything, political parties are exempt. Perhaps you would be better off organising your thoughts and writing a brief and coherent letter on the subject on the subject of exemptions to your local member.

Have had several calls from this number in past and after they got abused by both my husband and I they still call and now I'm getting calls from them and they wait till I answer breath down the damn phone then hang up. Getting sick of the crap from them. I've been on the dnc list since we got the house phone connected and they still ring. I have renewed several times and it doesn't seem to make one bit of difference.

Thanks to all the posters here I was made aware of market research being able to still contact you even though you are on the DNC list. Thank you, have now removed my number through the website provided in the thread. Cheers!

Never answer unknown numbers - ever ! Will try the site and see if I can get rid of these bstds. We should ask for their home number and promise to only call on weekends, meal times etc.

Caller: Reachtel Market research. Their website claims they are fully compliant with the Do Not Call Register (yet they called me and my name is on that list?)
Go to https://www.reachtel.com.au/do-not-call to opt out.

Caller: Reachtel These pricks needs to be taught a lesson. Go to https://www.reachtel.com.au/enquire-now and fill out this form over and over again with filthy content. If everyone does it multiple times and take up some of their time, see how they like it.

Caller: (02) 8004 3511 ReachTEL.com.au Thanks Brookster. I would never have found (or bothered to find) the Opt-put link by myself.
ReachTEL are indeed a "legit" mob. They are owned by Equifax - one of the largest international data brokering companies. AU ploitical parties (among others) use them for voice and robo-call marketing therefore they may have given access to the electoral rolls.
I heard Equifax recently suffered/reported another massive data breach - of your data.
The correct domain name is actually reachtel.com.au and the correct Op-out page at time of this entry is at: https://www.reachtel.com.au/do-not-call
